I'am working with a project and want to maximize ble throughput from ble thingy52 to a central device. I have used the ble sniffer with wireshark to see data transfer between two devices but not sure how to interpret the results.
I would like

RE: How to analyse data from ble sniffer.

Hi,

The phone or device (like the raspberry pi) will often limit the maximum numbers of the packet that can be sent in a connection interval. Different Android and iOS phones or devices send and receive a different number of packets in a single connection interval, depending on their Bluetooth chip capabilities.

What i can tell the connection interval is 30ms same as Iphone 6s, would you say that the raspberry pi is utilizing Event Length Extension to send more packeges during a BLE event as it get alot higher throughput?

In the "ThingyToRBPMed20BytePacket.pcapng", Looking at the "Delta time(µs start to start)" when only empty packets are sent, we see that this is 29689+151 = 29,840µs‬. (in the first red box)

In the next red box, we see 20 packets(blue dot) in the period of two big jump in Delta time(µs start to start) which is when the next connection interval starts.
