 is there a possibility to tune the external xtal (lfxo) or the rtc? 
 In other microcontrollers there is a possibility to trim, for exampe the rtc ignores one or more tick every 15seconds.

&lt;p&gt;You can tune the crystal frequency by adjusting the external load capacitors, but there is no on-chip functionality to tune it further unfortunately.&lt;/p&gt;
