I have not tried this myself but it think it should be possible (as Vojislav confirms). Use the connectivity_bridge project as the base project and merge prj.conf main.c from smp_svr into it. Do it one step at the time and try to build the project regularly to confirm that it works.

Could you be more specific about what's causing the problem? When building the (so far) merged project, what error messages are you getting?

I have managed to add SMP server to the peripherial_uart example (which is almost the same as connectivity bridge just without the USB). The good starting point is: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/zephyr/samples/subsys/mgmt/mcumgr/smp_svr/README.html
This sample will show you how to do the SMP over BLE.

Keep in mind that for this to work it is better to have nrf52832 or nrf52840 because they have enough memory to fit everything.
