Hi,

Private Resolvable addresses are generated from an identity resolving key (IRK) and a random number, and they can be changed often (even during the lifetime of a connection) to avoid the device being identified and tracked by an unknown scanning device.

nr552840 DK PCA10056, 2.0.1, 2020.13

I tried the NRFConnect "Bluetooth Low Energy" app, and it was also able to connect with the DK (it programmed the board). There were devices in the list, but again the name showed as <unknown name>

It seems the address is the random/private/resolvable...?

What is the board you are running the project? Custom board or DK?

Could you try SDK examples like the Glucose Application? Could you see it is showed in the device list?

Yes, I've checked two phones and a PC, and they are all discoverable with a device name. The devices can see each other.

Could you see the device in the device list before paring? If not, please check the device is advertising or not.

Please see the Sniffing a connection between paired devices.
