 the nRF9160 fails to connect properly. LED3 blinks continually, LED4 never lights.

Good to see that both modem and application is up to date. The error that is causing this is due to:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;pre class="ui-code" data-mode="text"&gt;asset_tracker: Socket error: POLLHUP&lt;/pre&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Did you power cycle the board after the update?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, have you updated your certificates on your board &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/cellular-iot-guides/b/getting-started-cellular/posts/nrf-cloud-certificate-update"&gt;following this guide&lt;/a&gt;? It not, can you please try this as well. Note that it is important to carefully read the steps before starting.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
