I have 3 different nRF52 DK eval boards versions
1. PCA10040 , 1.1.0. 2016.16
2. PCA10040 , 1.2.4. 2019.5
3. PCA10040 , 2.0.0. 2020.8

When I try to measure the current in boards 1 and 3 , they read varied values on same firmware flashed

RE: Differernce in Nrf52 DK versions

HI,

Is the solder bridge from the SB9 cut properly? Does the kit function correctly i.e if you flash the blinky example from the SDK, does it work? What current do you measure if you flash the blinky example from the SDK on the board? What supply have you used earlier when you've tested the board? I'm suspecting that the board might be damaged.

Attached herewith the screenshots of the same.

All three cases I had cut the SB9 and used the power profiler. Could there be any damage while removing the short or other short? What else I could check?

That's a lot in difference. You should get a similar result with the same FW. Could you upload your application as a hex? I would like to reproduce this myself. Are you using a softdevice?

You can find the HW files here.
