In ble_app_cts_c example(SDK 16), is it necessary to perform app_timer_init()? Because I could see that, no timers are being setup in the function timers_init().
If I can skip that, then I can use RTC1 for SAADC sampling. As RTC0 is already occupied

RE: Is it necessary to use app timer library in current time service client example?

Exactly, the application timer is only used by the application, not the SoftDevice.

RE: Is it necessary to use app timer library in current time service client example?

Hi,

I doubted if app_timer was internally used for activities like handling advertising interval.

So, as per your answer, it is not internally used right?
