Well, when installing from scratch in the spare pc (say PC1), it launched for short a visual studio sdk or something like that.

Regarding the "omit messages", when upgrading from 3.3 to 3.4 in the development machine (say PC0), the installer prompted that couldn't remove a file or something like that, and offered to cancel/abort or omit.I (badly) chose "omit". Since then, I couldn't go further from the evolution bar that I posted in the first message.

This is the mother of the problem I said in the first message.

I'm tempted to think it's a registry key related problem, but that's just newbie intuition.

What do you mean the "visual studio windiow" here? The installation will not launch any tool IDE.

Amanda: sorry for the delay in the test. I've just installed the 3.4.1 on a spare computer without any problem (and with less free space). I'm almost sure it isn't a free disk space related problem, it has about 100Gb free. If it is usefull, when trying to install on the "problematic" pc, it doesn't even launches the visual studio windiow. Remember the illness condition of being under an update and a couple of ommit messages.

Hi Esteban,

I suspect it might relate to the PC issue (such as insufficient space), but maybe I was wrong. That's why I need you to test on another PC. Right now I have not seen other issues like this while installing 3.4, but I still will report to the internal. Before that, could you try to install nRF Connect 3.4 on other PC?

3.3 was working on my development pc until the upgrade mess happened. The point is that the other pc where I could try is a spare one with too few resources.

Could the nRF Connect 3.3 work if you don't update to 3.4?

Hi Esteban,

Please try to

Uninstall nRF Connect
Go into {user}\AppData\Roaming and removed everything that has *nrf*connect in the name
Restart PC
Download nRF Connect 3.4 from https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-tools/Development-Tools/nRF-Connect-for-desktop/Download#infotabs instead of updating from 3.3.

Hi Esteban,

Could you try to uninstall nRF Connect, go into {user}\AppData\Roaming and removed everything that has *nrf*connect in the name, install again? Please let me know this helps or not.
