Alternatively, you can override it by using the command &amp;quot;channel &amp;lt;nr&amp;gt;&amp;quot;, e.g.: &amp;quot;channel 12&amp;quot; on both devices.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I understand that it can be difficult without the proper HW, but it is (unfortunately) a big challenge to do embedded development without being able to test.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Perhaps you can elaborate a bit, and we can find some way that may work for you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;The usb cli example uses the USB peripheral (the USB port on the long side of the DK). The UART cli example uses the USB cable on the short end (UART over USB).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

If you get a node reset with the prebuilt openthread stack, the node does not need to be commissioned again. The network data is stored in flash.
