Hi, I've just updated nRF-Toolbox and added ability to delete files from inbox directory.

Usually it takes few days before Apple approves it.

I am using nrfToolbox, not nrfConnect. This is about deleting imported DFU zip file after used on the iPad

The issue in nRF Connect regarding DFU / Imported Files to show 'Logs' has just been fixed in a beta version (2.3.2).

Problem : I am using nrfToolbox on my iPad for DFU program update, not nrfConnect and can't delete the obsolete DFU zip file.

1. I can't find any delete button for deleting files in nrfToolbox

2. nrfConnect can see some files (Setting --» Imported file) but not the DFU file

3. Itune app on the computer (Mac) don't have access the iPad files except photo , music movies... - I think the program have change in the recent years

4.The Ipad file manager dont see the DFU file.

Please help.

Hi so,

You're using nRF Connect, the "Imported Files" option in Setting, or DFU File Selection, shows a list of Logs, you can't find your DFU Files, and you can't delete them?

You can delete a DFU file in two ways: you can swipe left on its cell, revealing a "Delete" button that you can tap. And also, you can long-press on the File, and delete it that way.

Also: nRF Connect does not currently expose its internal data to the Files App. But you can send a DFU File from the Files app to nRF Connect.

As for the "Logs", we'll look into it further. This has been a pressing issue for a while.

Files are not visible in the iPad files applications

On the PC, I believe that Itunes have change and you cannot anymore use it for files gestion, other than pictures, audio and video. Other files are not visible.

In nrfToolbox, you can select file for DFU but can't delete them.

It should be ok to delete log files.

It's been a while since I used nrf Toolbox. I assume you didn't find the files in the files application? If not you might have to connect to the ipad using itunes, then look at what files have been added to the application there.

I have look at the imported file option in nrf Connect . It saw the inbox folder but not the DFU folder and could not found any of my DFU ZIP files. There is many txt file but I dont know what they all are, some are in a folder call Logs. Can they be deleted before I run out of space ?

The application I am using my iPad is nrf Toolbox. I don't have problems to find the files to do a DFU with the nrf52 device. My problem is to delete them after use. They are pilling on my iPad and cannot find how to delete them.

Hi,

I am sorry, but what application are you using on your iPad? If you are using nrF connect I think you should see the files under imported files on the settings page.
