When I add the Training Status characteristic SIG 0x2AD3, I get Unknown Characteristic when I connect to my device via the nRF connect mobile app 2.21 build 139.

If you use the nRF Connect for Desktop version of the app you can add your own UUID definitions, see here.

Are you on Android or iOS?

The Training Status characteristic is not included in the nRF Connect app by default, so you will have to add it yourself for it to be recognized. Let me know which OS you are on, and I'll instruct you on how to do this.

Best regards,
