&lt;p&gt;So this is running on an nRF52840 DK, right? What version is your DK? The reason I ask is that I have experienced some issues with the PDK (DK v0.x.y).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Have you tested the unmodified dfu client example according to the guide from your link? Does that finish without problems?&lt;/p&gt;
