Hi.

I am not aware of any ways of increasing/decreasing the AGPS update interval. However, as it is the application that is controlling the SUPL library, it should be able to request data more often or ignore the modem's requests.

As for how much data is downloaded, I was not able to find a precise number after a quick search, other than 1-10kB, depending on the frequencies of the downloads. The ephemerides (480 bits when downloaded from the satellites) are downloaded every hour, while the almanac (15000 bits when downloaded from the satellites) stays valid for several months.
