I am using the last up to date demo software for long range BLE throughput test and get systematically, as soon as I press buton 3 or 4 an error "Lost logs - increase backend".
It looks that I am not the first user to get this error but I can

RE: NRF52840 DK long range throughput example software Lost logs error

Thanks Vidar,

This is OK.

Once you know that Segger's terminal is not the one to be used, everything is fine.

Thank you.

RE: NRF52840 DK long range throughput example software Lost logs error

Hi,

The command-line interface (CLI) used to configure the test is exposed via the UART interface and not the RTT channel displayed in the SES "Debug Terminal" window. Please follow the test instruction provided in the example documentation on how to set up a serial client to communicate with the board over UART (ATT_MTU Throughput Example).

Here I used Tera Term to run a test in Long-range mode:

I'm not sure why the lost log message is printed in the debug terminal considering logging over RTT is disabled by default. But it is safe to ignore this.

Regards,

Yes it is the original from SDK.

No it hasn't been modified.

Version is : nRF5 SDK v17.0.0; Release Date: June, 2020

Thanks for having taken this case quickly.

Regards

Ben

P.S. I include the RAR file I downloadeddevzone.nordicsemi.com/.../nRF5SDK17009d13099.zip

Directory of the example with which I have the problem is : C:/Temp/Nordic/SEGGER/nRF5SDK17009d13099/examples/ble_central_and_periphear/experimental/ble_app_att_mtu_throughput/pca10056/s140/ses

RE: NRF52840 DK long range throughput example software Lost logs error

Hi,

I will try to see if I can replicate the issue here. Is the 'ble-app_att_mtu_throughput_pca10056_s140' project you are using the original from nRF5 SDK or has been modified? Also, which SDK version are you using?

Thanks,
