I am working with the nRF9160 devkit and I have encountered an issue.
I cannot seem to properly enable PSM to use the GPS and LTE at the same time.
In the application I use the lte_lc_controller library to set up the modem and I have added

RE: Not able to enable PSM

This reports back that the PSM or eDRX are disabled, so I guess no support.

If your network provider doesn't support PSM/eDRX, that would indeed cause problems for you. I recommend asking the various network providers regarding details on this. You can check the PSM status by issuing these AT commands and parsing the bit-mapped return after querying AT+CEREG?:

AT+CEREG=5
AT+CEREG?

Best regards,
