&lt;p&gt;No, updating the j-Link firmware should have only updated the firmware in the Segger chip and should not change anything inside nRF52833 chip.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Seems like something got corrupted in your upgrade. Run jlink.exe to start the commander and type &amp;#39;exec invalidatefw&amp;#39; from the command line inside the Jlink commander then allow it to reflash the device. This allows you to re-flash again next time you use the jlink dll and fix the&amp;nbsp;previous firmware update&lt;/p&gt;
