It is not possible to flash the nRF52832 with UART unless it has a bootloader, unfortunately.

I am using FTDI cable to flash the device and read the output in Minicom terminal, because I need to use the external voltage source for testing my app. I followed all steps related to the install setup on the official Zephyr website and I think that I have already installed all needed tools. I connected the board using 5V and GND pins to the same pins on FTDI, and I used Tx pin on my nRF52832 board (P0.06) and Rx pin on the FTDI cable. Do I need to define these pins in the code and enable UART communication in that case? I am sorry if these questions are trivial, but I am pretty now in using Nordic boards and especially Zephyr together with them. Thanks a lot in advance!!

What HW are you trying to use the FTDI cable on? And are you using this cable to flash?

Please note that nrfjprog expects a programmer. The nRF52832 doesn't come with a preflashed serial bootloader, like most of the arduinos do.
