I am trying to implement the OTA - DFU in my project. I have my own board with a nrF52832 chip.
The project was build using SDK 13.0.0 and softdevice s132 4.0.2. Because that, I dowloaded the SDK 13.0.0 from Nordic website ( https://www

RE: Problem with DFU SDK 13.0.0 Softdevice 4.0.2

Problem solved.

I made a downgrade to the gcc -arm-none-eabi -4.9 2015q3 and it worked like a charm.

Thanks for the support!

RE: Problem with DFU SDK 13.0.0 Softdevice 4.0.2

Hi,

I got these messages using RTT:

Since I am just compiling the code, using the makefile in nRF5SDK1300/examples/dfu/bootloader_secure_ble/pca10040_debug/armgcc, I don't understand what is wrong. This error "invalid bank" seems to be a CRC error, right?

RE: Problem with DFU SDK 13.0.0 Softdevice 4.0.2

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand the issue you are having and how it's related to the case you linked to.

Having logging configured you will be able to see what causes the device to hang.

RE: Problem with DFU SDK 13.0.0 Softdevice 4.0.2

Hi, Hung Bui!

It doesn't seem to be that the real problem:

https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/29462/using-sdk-13-0-0-serial-secure-dfu-bootloader-with-sd-3-0-0

Unfortunately, I think the best option is to change the code and adapt it to a new version of the SDK and softdevice.

Thanks!

RE: Problem with DFU SDK 13.0.0 Softdevice 4.0.2

Hi Dbuenom,

Please check the log on the board. By default RTT is enable in the debug version.

You can also change the optimization level to 0 and add DEBUG to the preprocessor symbols to have more debug information. You may need to move the bootloader down in flash to give more flash space to it (you may need to do an erase all when doing that because the address of the bootloader is stored in UICR)
