They also are both programmed with the same mqtt_simple code.

Everything is working now. All is good. I am closing this ticket.

I assume that is what's causing this. Either that or the SIM you have is damaged/broken. I suggest contacting the SIM providers if you have questions about this.

Please note that we're entering the summer vacation period here in Norway, so delays must be expected as we are low on staff for the month of July. Sorry about the inconvenience!

Thanks for your quick reply back. I switched the SIM cards between the two boards.

Now the board that was working and able to connect to AWS does not connect and the board that was not working is now able to connect to AWS.

Why is connecting to AWS SIM card dependent? Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

Thanks,

The mqtt_connect -60 error points to a Connection timeout, see nrfxlib\bsdlib\include\nrf_errno.h. From the log, it seems like the LTE link does connect, and after the address is found, the error occurs. Is it always the same board that is unable to connect?

Here are a few things you can try:

Try switching SIM cards on the two DKs, to see if that changes anything.

If one board is already connected when you're trying to connect the second one, disconnect the first one, and try the other one.

Best regards,
Simon
