&lt;p&gt;It is possible to use SES with nRF51, but SES support was not added to the latest SDK that supported nRF51. Please have a look at &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/nordic-blog/b/blog/posts/segger-embedded-studio-a-cross-platform-ide"&gt;this tutorial&lt;/a&gt;, it includes&amp;nbsp;the instructions and files needed to get you started.&lt;/p&gt;
