The SDK for the nRF-51 includes applications the help you do what you want.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The &lt;a href="http://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/Products/Bluetooth-Smart-Bluetooth-low-energy/nRF8001-Development-Kit"&gt;nRF8001 DK&lt;/a&gt; is used for developing on the nRF8001, the nRF8001 requires an additional external mcu. Examples are available on our gitbhub and devzone for a variety of external mcus for the nRF8001.&lt;/p&gt;
