&lt;p&gt;Can you try including both SoftDevice firmware IDs (FWID) for --sd-req when generating the packet?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, choose bootloader-version and application-version one higher than the existing bootloader and application respectively.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am using nrfutil 6.1&lt;br /&gt;Going from a SDK14.2 build with SD 132 5.0.0&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;to&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;SDK 15 build with SD 132 6.0.0&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
