When I use NRF Sniffer via Wireshark I see a message from this device every 5 seconds (sometimes corrupted, like 1 per 20 messages) which

RE: Difference between NRF Sniffer and BLE Central scan code

Try setting the advertising interval to a really large value and set (e.g. to the maximum of 10.24 seconds), and set the scan window close to the scan interval to scan most of the time

Now that Im back to our normal application - our device has Central and Peripheral roles at the same time and I guess while advertising it cant scan, so the question would be how do we manage to maximize scanning time and minimise advertising?

RE: Difference between NRF Sniffer and BLE Central scan code

Hi Simon,

With this one I figured it out, so will reply myself:

There is a difference in the scanning method between Sniffer and whats in S132 softdevice. And there is a packet loss happening due to the switch of the channels.

RE: Difference between NRF Sniffer and BLE Central scan code

I'm currently looking into your questions and will try to provide an answer in the upcoming days.
