&lt;p&gt;You really do need to be a competent embedded firmware developer for this.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Maybe you&amp;#39;d be better off looking for a ready-made product.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Or, There are BLE shields available for Arduino, and even some Arduinos based on Nordic chips; eg,&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It is the standard &amp;#39;C&amp;#39; programming language - which is the &lt;em&gt;de facto&lt;/em&gt; standard for pretty much all embedded microcontroller projects like this (although C++ is gaining ground - but that&amp;#39;s certainly no simpler!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So do you have any experience with embedded microcontroller firmware development?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;you have any experience with&amp;nbsp;software development &lt;em&gt;in general&lt;/em&gt; ?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Have you spent any time looking at the Nordic SDK? It should be obvious which programming language is appropriate...&lt;/p&gt;
