The app_error_handler doesn't seems to be called at all when I try connect.

but I found the issue:

I'm cycling between 1M and coded phy , and when I didn't clean up properly the adv params while going back to 1M.

Hi,

Sett a breakpoint in the error handler and see what the call stack looks like? What function is calling the error handler?
Sett the Debug flag, it should make the application print out the error message
