Hi Kaja,

i connected my j-link to the nordic board thingy 52 through a cortex M adapter, nrfgo studio recognizes the J-link, however my nordic board does not appear as an option so that I can program it.

Below is an image of how the nrfgo studio looks.

I bought a cortex m adapter to use with my j-link. I'll be back with results soon

Hi Renan,

sorry for the delayed answer, I was OOO.

No you can use the j-link, and use the debugger interface.

If you buy the nRF52 DK, you can also use this to update the firmware of Thingy using the built-in J-Link OB debugger.

hi, i only have the nordic thingy 52 module, do i need more development boards to be able to program with j-link?
or can I write the firmware through the DFU?

Hi Renan,

erase the Thingy device & flash this hex file to the Thingy. You can either do this via nrfjprog or nrfgostudio.
