I am having a problem to get SAADC to work with low power. I am using custom board with chip NRF52811, SDK 16.0.0.

I had turned on the SAADC_CONFIG_LP_MODE in the config file.

When using 1 channel, I get the current consumption

RE: [NRF52] SAADC problems with scan mode low power

Hi haakonsh,

I did disable all other peripheral and let only the adc task run only, but the result is just like I mentioned above

RE: [NRF52] SAADC problems with scan mode low power

The first thing that stands out is that you trigger a sample task from the main loop. The sample rate is dependent on how often you wake up, and that will vary depending on BLE, GPIOTE, and app_timer activity.

If you just need to measure the battery voltage I suggest you set up an app_timer to control the sample rate.

I suggest you try to isolate the SAADC current issue by removing all other functionality (BLE, PIR, etc), in order to isolate the problem.

RE: [NRF52] SAADC problems with scan mode low power

Hi haakonsh,
