Hello,

Could you please elaborate on the following:
- Are you working with one of the examples provided in the SDK? If so, which example?
- Could you describe the behavior you are seeing when running the program, and how it differs from what you would have expected?
- Is your program generating any errors, or is there just no response from the Flash memory?

If you are working with an SDK example, and you have made any modifications to it, it would be beneficial if you could share the modifications you have made.

Then how did you intend to test & debug this?

Cheap logic analysers are available on ebay, etc, for ~ $10

That's not what I said.

The SDK documentation will tell you whether / how the CS is managed.

How should i verify the combination? I dont have oscilloscope or analyser.

You mean to say sdk52 does not handle CS pin at software level.

As always, You have to do whatever the slave's datasheet tells you!

But you say you have it working with Arduino, so you must have already answered that question to get that working: the slave neither knows nor cares what master you use - so it won't change!

So you've verified each one separately - but how have you verified the combination of nRF52840 + IS25LP064A ?

Show your schematic.

And, again:

What hardware are you using ?
Have you stepped through the code, to see what's happening inside the nRF52840 ?
Have you used an oscilloscope or analyser to see what's happening on the wires ?

I would like to know, in which mode i have to manage CS pin. The SPI device that i am using supports mode 0 and mode 3.

Hi thanks for quick reply.

I am using nRF52840 and NOR flash (IS25LP064A).

I have verified both of them, I have check the flash with arduino, could able to read the device id.

I have tried to use two nrf52840 one as master and other as slave, that also worked fine.

So what debugging have you done to find what's going on?

What hardware are you using ?
How have you verified your hardware ?
Have you stepped through the code, to see what's happening inside the nRF52840 ?
Have you used an oscilloscope or analyser to see what's happening on the wires ?
