Thanks Nguyen, it is good to know that previous revision still works well;

My only complaint about migrating to SDK8 is the need to use also SoftDevice 8, cause in my projects i use a nRF51822 module which is already SIG qualified with SD 7, and flashing new SD8 probably means loosing the qualification

I just begin updating my blog to SDK8. I tested the rev 2 and 1 of the chip. They still work. The SDK8 DFU is already online. There is a precompiled hex file as well.

I used the SDK7.2 with SD7.1 no problem at all with R2 even R1 still works but on R1 it is a little marginal.

Thanks Nguyen, i have already moved my bootloader project to the SDK 7.1 and made it working (when no application is previously flashed) with my eclipse configuration;

So my new question is if it is totally safe to use the SDK 7.2 which is stated (into the release note) as "optimized for ic revision 3" for my ic revision 2;

You should use SDK7 with SD7 and DFU 7 (works fine with Rev 2) . DFU of SDK6 is not compatible with the current nRFToolbox. Pure Eclipse projects can be found here embeddedsoftdev.blogspot.ca/.../ehal-nrf51.html
