Try to use nrfjprog command tool

nrfjprog --programs <hex_file>

Code is working fine now - it was the wrong version of softDevice in the BL620 compared with in my project.

I would still like to know how if I can program softdevices into custom boards using nrfGo Studio, or how it is best done. Thanks,

OK, I'm certain the softdevice is there because if I compile the simple uart app to start at IROM 0x0, then erase fails when I try program, but it works when I start at 0x1D000.

But still, my debugger never makes it to the main finction when running code on the BL620, it is doing my head in.

It's really strange, if I program the ble_app_hrs that I know works on the PCA10001 eval board into the BL620 and set a breakpoint in the first lines of code in my main function, it never even makes it there. I thought maybe the Keil 'Erase Device' function perhaps left the softdevice in, but now I have no idea if the softdevice is there or how to put it back again.
