I have not got any error message.

Did you get any error messages or have any information on where and why it failed? Could you upload a screenshot?

Thanks for the quick response.

Tool chain manager fails to install 1.3.

So I could succeed installation of 1.2 using tool chain manager.

Is there any way I can troubleshoot issues with 1.3 version.

You don't need to install anything if you open a project through the Toolchain Manager (TM), all the tools needed to develop a project will get installed automatically. You can build and flash a program onto the chip out-of-the-box with the TM. The links below will explain how to use the TM.

I followed instructions given by using Toolchain Manager. it installs only tool chain. but didnot install choco, python,west,

Sources for SDK, RTOS, gnuarmemb.

Hence I installed manually.

I am using Windows 7 host and can you help exactly which button shall trigger automatic installation of below:

I would recommend you to use the Toolchain Manager. Then you can install NCS by simply pressing a button, and you don't need to install the tools manually.

finally I could resolve this by upgrading setuptools, using below command.

pip3 install --upgrade setuptools
