&lt;p&gt;It sounds like the next step would be to look at the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.meshsdk.v4.2.0/md_examples_sensor_README.html"&gt;Sensor example&lt;/a&gt;, which implements an emulated motion sensor, and the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.meshsdk.v4.2.0/md_examples_light_lc_server_README.html"&gt;Light LC example&lt;/a&gt;, which is a light controller that uses data from both sensors and switches to control the lights.&lt;/p&gt;
