Tested this with SDK 17.0, worked fine here:

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../ble_5F00_app_5F00_beacon_5F00_ds18b20.zip

Note that DS_PIN is set to pin 26 in ds18b20.c

I tried SDK15-16-17. None worked

I am using Segger

If you can make one with SDK17, it would be great

Sounds strange. What SDK version are you using ? What IDE are you using ? Segger ? I can add the onewire code to the beacon example if you want.

It still doesn't work. I even tried to remove the initial advertising_start() command to see if I get the status - but it is showing 0.000 instead of the real value.

If this is just a simple beacon, then you can try to disable the advertising, do the ds18b20 measurement, and then enable the advertising again.
