I face the same once after the recovery. But during that time the recovery happened with 15-20 mins.

I am facing the exact same issue. Did the board behave normally after its recovery in subsequent connections?

I have extensively used nrf52840 dk so I know about "nRF power source " switch. It is in VDD. Just to mention that the issue is solved. I kept the usb connected even after it powers down after 2 hours it powered up (magically without any interference) on its own and started working normally.

There is a switch marked "nRF power source" on yourt PDK. Could you check what position this is in?
