&lt;p&gt;Currently, you need to have the project created already (using NCS import dialog. Open SEGGER Embedded Studio (SES) as explained in section&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/nrf-connect-sdk-guides/b/getting-started/posts/nrf-connect-sdk-tutorial---part-1-ncs-v1-3-0#h155sjwm56iy71nftthh5gikrw9b2thl"&gt;1.2 Build and flash - using SEGGER Embedded Studio&lt;/a&gt;.) There is an upcoming version (not released yet), where it will also be possible to import the NCS project and thus generated the em project file from the command line, but I cannot promise the schedule.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
