Thanks for the response. My peripheral device is now able to advertise to another peripheral while connected to a central. I am also able to scan for the advertisement with the other peripheral which is also connected to a different central. I am trying to implement an identifier in the advertisement message (like "x1000") so the scanner will recognize it, but unable to get this working. Any suggestions for this? Also, is there a way to have a flag included in the advertisement (something that would change for each advertisement made)?

By definition, only a Central does the scanning.

However, an nRF52 device can implement both Central & Peripheral functions in the same device.

Also, in general, a Peripheral stops advertising once connected - but an nRF52 could be programmed to continue advertising when connected.
