&lt;p&gt;There are some projects that will not work out of the box with&amp;nbsp; IAR 8, please refer to the &amp;quot;note for IAR 8 users&amp;quot; in the SDK&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.0.2/index.html"&gt;release notes&lt;/a&gt; for details.
