&lt;p&gt;I interpreted this as you have not connected the SWD pins. I would prefer it if you could provide me with the schematics. It would clear up any misunderstandings.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;When the logger module use RTT as backend it uses the SWD pins. Which means that these has to be connected to use this feature. Could you provide a schematic of your custom board?&lt;/p&gt;
