Are you sure v 3.5 of the pyserial module got installed to same python version invoked by the script? If not, can you double check the what version you have in the site-packages folder (/Users/hafsa.ismail/Library/Python/3.8/lib/python/site-packages)

I have 3.5 but still the same errors

Have you tried to update your pySerial installation? The 3.5 release includes some bug fixes seem relevant if you have upgraded to BigSur.

I have problem with sniffer now I cannot see the interface and i cannot run it

Thank you very much I managed to run it as a root. Now it is working fine.

Do you have more than one installation of Python3 on your system, and in that case, is the pyserial module installed to all of them?

You are missing the dot slash ("./") in front of nrf_sniffer_ble.sh

Are you trying the execute the script from the extcap directory like shown below?

OS is MacOS

Please include more details. What error(s) do you get when you execute the script? Also, which OS is this on, macOS or Linux?
