The issue seems to be the space in your username. Can you please try to reinstall NCS to another folder i.e. C:\NordicSemi or C:\NCS?

Yes, that is exactly what I needed.

File not found: C:/Users/Even/nrf9160dk_nrf9160_defconfig

There's your problem. And now we need to find why it failed, and searched in a completely different folder.

Starting SES through Toolchain Manager (Clicking "Open IDE" in Toolchain Manager) , and opening the same sample, I'm not able to reproduce your issue.

Can you please provide the output from SES, printed in the output view (In SES click View --> Output).

I'm trying to run the nrf9160dk_nrf9160 board and yes, I am. Been following the first steps to build tutorial. Attached a screenshot for convinience

In order for me to help, I will need more information. Please provide the output from Segger Embedded Studio output. What sample are you trying to run? Are you using the built in Segger Embedded Studio, provided by Toolchain Manager?

Can you please tell me what Windows you are running? x86 is 32 bit, but are you running Windows 7 or 10?

The Getting Started Assistant is deprecated, as stated in the Getting Started Assistant window:

What documentation have you followed? The Installing the nRF Connect SDK through nRF Connect for Desktop chapter will guide you on how to install NCS. Please note that from version 1.3.0 of NCS, the board name is renamed from nrf9160_pca10090 to nrf9160dk_nrf9160, also indicated in Building and programming a sample application.
