The reason for this is that the PDM peripheral is not configured as non-secure, see the <a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/include/spm.html">SPM documentation</a>.&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p>It looks like this configuration was added as from the <a href="https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/pull/1896">PR #1896</a>&nbsp;but then removed the day after in <a href="https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/pull/2338">PR #2338</a>, because the change caused GPIOTE to stop working on non-secure apps, see <a href="https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/pull/1896#issuecomment-634626123">this comment</a>.&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p>I will get you some information tomorrow on if and how you can configure the PDM&nbsp;peripheral&nbsp;as non-secure.&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p>Best regards,</p> <p>Heidi</p> <p></p> <p><span></span></p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
