Which softdevice functions do you use that are failing? Take a look at the Softdevice 8 migration document that is bundled together with the softdevice in the zip file found <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/Products/nRF51822/S110-SD-v8/45846">here</a> to find out what needs to be done when migrating from SD 7 to 8.
