&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s failing because you&amp;#39;re trying to open the project for the incorrect board. The connectivity bridge application is made for the nRF52840 on the Thingy:91, see &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/applications/connectivity_bridge/README.html#requirements"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;, so when opening the project, use the board name &amp;quot;thingy91_nrf52840&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
