 I am using nrf52840 (in a Laird module) and trying to advertise such that legacy BLE 4 mobile devices can connect. Only BLE 5 mobile can see the device (running nRFConnect).

&lt;p&gt;Which legacy BLE 4 mobile devices did you test?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I can&amp;#39;t really see anything in your settings that would indicate that Bluetooth 5 support is needed to receive the packets.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Did you try the nRF Connect app on the mobile devices to receive the packets?&lt;/p&gt;
