@Anthony: Have you erased bond on the phone ? (no "Bonded" status when connect) It would be great if you can capture a sniffer trace to check what happened over the air.

I also suggest you to get hold of another phone or update your device to more recent version of Android. As I mentioned, Android 4.3 is the first version that support BLE, and it's quite buggy.

@Anthony: I can see from the screenshot the device was bonded with the phone before. Could you try to go to bluetooth setting, delete bonding with the device (NRF_UART) by select "Forget this device" and then try to capture the log again?

@Anthony: GATT ENCRYPTED NO MITM BONDED just mean the device was bonded. Could you do service discovery ? You would need to enable notification to be able to receive notification. If possible could you swipe right in MCP and read out the log ? Android 4.3 is pretty old and the Bluetooth stack on that version was quite buggy. We actually haven't tested on any ASUS phone. One of the suggestion is to update to newer Android version.

@Hung Bui: try to make something with nRF MCP. i connected to device and MCP tells me status: GATT ENCRYPTED NO MITM BONDED

@Hung Bui: so during my trials at first day, error appeared consistently. today i have succesfull connect at first time (but application didn't work correctly: i didn't receive any data about temperature and battery). i tried to turn off Bluetoth and reboot phone but it didn't help me.

i also tried another application (UART) but i have the same error.

phone: ASUS with Android 4.3

Also i tried another phone last time and it was able to work with HTS app.

I have idea that this problem was caused by nRF Master Control Panel but i closed it and have the same issue.

@Anthony: Was the error appear consistently ? Which firmware and which phone, Android versino did you used ? If you try to turn off an on Bluetooth , would the issue remain ?
