&lt;p&gt;As &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/members/joh2"&gt;Jørgen Holmefjord&lt;/a&gt; said earlier, the&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;e&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="https://github.com/NordicPlayground/nrf5-calendar-example"&gt;nrf5-calendar-example&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;receives the time over HW UART - so there&amp;#39;s no reason why you shouldn&amp;#39;t do the same over BLE ...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
