I'm using nRF52833 for my application. Unfortunately, my dev kit can not connect to my PC when I use cable to connect it to my PC. It can supply voltage for my kit but when I checked COM port, I didn't see any COM port of my kit.
The power and comms are on different pins - so it is possible for the comms pins to be damaged while the supply pins are still intact.

RE: Unable to connect to nRF52833 Dev Kit

Hi,

Have you exposed the DK to any voltage/current that is outside of the specifications?

Have you soldered or cut any of the solder bridges on the board?

How is the switches on the board configured? Could you upload a picture of the DK that clearly shows this

Are you able to update it to include checking that the micro-USB connector hasn't been damaged, or come loose?

This is certainly not an uncommon issue with micro-USB connectors!

I've certainly had it happen (though not on a Nordic kit - yet...)
