I have NRF51822 and I need infinite connection. The chip is used as peripheral device. Tx power is set to -8dBm. What is the power consumption when It is connected ?
How big difference in consumption is between connection state and advertising

RE: Power consumption within connection

That will depend on the connection interval and advertising interval, and all the other settings you can configure. I am not surprised that for shorter intervals that staying in a connection use less energy, but for longer intervals then advertising use less energy.

When I will connect once, I will not disconnect a long time (maybe 30 days)... It looks like that advertising mode consume more power than connection mode.
We don't have any similar for the nRF51-series, but I expect the numbers to be about 50-100% higher on average. I could find someone have tried to make something for the nRF51-series here on their own:
https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/18396/nrf51-online-power-profiler
