we are using the nRF52840 in a medical ECG recorder. To stream the data as fast as possible we want to use the 2Mb phy. Everything is working as expected under iOs and Android (we can 'enable' 2Mb phy).
But under Windows 10 (1909) it seems that

RE: enabling 2Mb phy Windows 10 (1909)

Hi Thomas,

i think it depends on your Windows BLE device. The 2MBPS PHY is only supported since BT5.0. Make sure that your windows BLE interface support this.

RE: enabling 2Mb phy Windows 10 (1909)

Hi,

It seems that I have itendified/solved the problem. I have tried to change the connection parameters using 'sd_ble_gap_conn_param_update' together with 'sd_ble_gap_phy_update' within the 'BLE_GAP_EVT_CONNECTED' handler. I get the expeceted '2Mb PHY' 'BLE_GAP_EVT_PHY_UPDATE' event as soon I call 'sd_ble_gap_phy_update' only.

... the 2Mb PHY connection is now working absolutely stable using the Intel AC 9260 on the PC side as client.

thank you very much and have a nice weekend ;-)
