Is it somehow possible to plot data comming from external target board with nRF52, connected to nRF52 DK via swdio and swclk lines, by some data plotting program? Etc. I would like to visualize data comming from custom board with some nice graphs

RE: custom target board serial data plotting

That's all Segger's stuff - so Segger really are the people to ask about it!

RE: custom target board serial data plotting

Yes, I mean J-scope on the link you have mentioned. I know that it is not Nordic´s, but Nordic DKs use J-link in order to be able to debug (looking at many questions on Devzone common used IDE for Nordic product development is also Segger embedded studio), so i am assuming that i should get some help here. Please, how to setup the parameters? Thanks!

Depends what the problem is!
I have read that it is necessary to include path to .elf program
Yes, that's what the above page says - it's a debug tool, which directly accesses your variables by name.

It will need the ELF file in order to translate the variable name to actual RAM address.

But it's a Segger product - nothing to do with Nordic - so you need to contact Segger for more information or support:

https://forum.segger.com/

Indeed. I think probably Python is the go-to language for such things - with matplotlib, numpy, etc?

One alternative could be to use pynrfjprog together with some data plotting tools in Python.

You can find examples of reading/writing data over RTT from a Python application in this post.

I think Keil & Segger both have such facilities.

To be more general, it might be easier to use the UART ...
